I’ve just started using Ovatu for online booking and have set up to take deposits for my nail appointments as I’ve had bookings before and people have either not turned up or cancelled last min!! I’m just trying to word the terms and conditions for this that clients have to click ‘agree’ to before booking. Can I state that this is a non refundable booking fee to secure and appointments can only be rearranged? How can I word these terms? TIA x

If you want to be able to keep the fee for no-shows, you must ensure that your terms of business are watertight otherwise you not only risk being sued but reported to Trading Standards for illegal financial practices.
See a solicitor who is experienced in advising small businesses and pay them to draft your terms and conditions.
It will give you peace of mind when someone complains. (There is always that ONE client who acts like a dog with a bone.)
