I have recently started seeing the most amazing guy. We are crazy about eachother and it's his 30th birthday in February. I've bought tickets to the Cirque Du Soleil and we're going to have dinner too, but i wanted to do something cute and special, so decided on Love Coupons.

Could you have a look at my ideas and see what you would add or change?

As it is a new relationship, we're still learning about eachother and there are lots of things we haven't done together. He'll try anything except ice skating haha.

Here's my list so far

Facial
Tan
Back Massage
Full Body Massage
Foot Massage
Activity of your choice
Day baking cookies and cakes
Cinema date inc popcorn
Eat out at a restaurant of your choice
Romantic picnic, anytime, anywhere
Night of stargazing
Couples Spa Day
Movie night
Shopping Spree
Weekend away
Duvet day inc takeaway of your choice
Day out in London
Night out on the town
Bowling date
Shopping trip for your choice of lingeree
A free wish
30 minute make-out session
Breakfast date
Romantic stroll
Gaming night
Night out at Wimbledon Dog Races
Day out to London Zoo
Day out to Thorpe Park
Night out at a comedy club
1 toe-curling, knock-you-off-your-feet kiss
Bubble bath with oils, scented candles and me to scrub your back

If your paying for all that it cost you a small fortune,

Think youv got too many I would maybe do about 10,

Get some "cheeky" ones in their

I think your covering too much on there!! If you do all that now what is left to do lol

Dirty dance
Steamy shower
Saucy surprise (Ann summers goodies in a gift bag)
Sookie 😱 (can't believe I wrote that)
Theme park
Casino
Romantic meal
Duvet day

I agree there are quite a lot, maybe just 5-10 things and mix them up - some you can do and some that cost.

Plus mm29 what's a sookie? Lol :/

I'm definitely not going to do them all....i was thinking 30, but obviously i can escape a huge cost with the romantic ones...kisses, hugs, picnic, bath, treatments by me, going for a walk, movie night, so there will be plenty of those, with a few paid for ones in between.

This is just my list of ideas to pick from before i make my final decision xx

What if he says you can't give him the 'toe curling, knock you off your feet kiss'? But he will take it from someone else since its his birthday ! Just joking..

Some great ideas but also costly if you do more than one plus everything else

Ie. Weekend away, shopping spree, Thorpe park, activity of your choice (that could be the super fast cars experience which is a couple hundred) etc..

Great idea tho but I would definitely look more into the small meaningful FREE ones more and have one or two costly ones xx

Maybe i should say, you may have the pleasure of my company to.... ;) xx

When you say, new relationship, how new is it?

I would limit the coupons to about 5, for his birthday. Don't forget, Valentine's day is just around the corner.

Then the ones you have left, you could slip one in his lunch or under his pillow. Mail him one, text him one, etc. Don't give them all at once.

I think it's a really good idea but spread the 'love'. :)

Tokens for a birthday is a fab idea. Personally I'd go for 30- we're a long time gone; go for it. You'll benefit from a lot of them too!
Set a budget though, it's not worth months of being skint for. Enjoy!

I agree I think you've done far too many - he'll be quaking in his boots thinking how on earth will he compete with that when it's your birthday! Plus you don't want to scare him off! If it's a really new relationship I would do no more than 5 max plus no really expensive ones.

It's pretty new, but you will just have to trust me that this one is different lol. He doesn't frighten easily. If anything, he's worse. The first time i stayed at his he gave me a key. He's taking me on holiday soon too.

Nana, i totally forgot about Valentine's Day.

I'm gonna cut out the expensive ones and keep them as just things to do together when i'm looking for ideas.

I am probably going to stick to 30, but all little free things, or the odd takeaway. Ideas for free things? Lol xx

Breakfast in bed.
Treat to a drink in your local.
Gaming day with unlimited sandwich making and beers (my fella would choose this over a 'sookie' any day hahaha I must be bad) - I cannot believe I just posted that on SG - oh well. Lol.
Romantic stroll.
Cleaning token.

I'll post anymore If I think of any xx

You may want to add some small print on the back

I gave my husband a valentines card last year that had some of these in, he takes great pleasure in producing them after an argument or when he's done something stupid!

"I've just spent an hour telling you how much I hate you - now can I redeem this 'Sookie'?"

:irked::lol::lol::lol:

I also think you've got too much in there. If I was given that many, I would stick them in a drawer and they'd never see the light of day. Too much like hard work even thinking about them or reading them. A girl would love this. A man however, probably not so much. Less is more in this case. Don't forget, they don't think the same as us. (that's my opinion).

I did it for my hubby when we'd been together for about a year and I think I limited it to 5. They were all dirty and I can't tell on SG. I bought a little monkey that had hands that clasped together and the monkey was holding the tokens. Very cute and naughty.

As there were only a few, they were quickly redeemed.

At the end of the day, all a man really ever wants is sex or anything relating to it (sookie).

Gary, can you hear me??.

I agree with the above, stick to 5 with the theme of sex etc and food and you can't go wrong lol :p
