Brazilian/ hollywood info please...

Hiya Forum!

We are looking to introduce Brazilian and Hollywood waxing to our treatment menu. But would love feedback about where is best to train, whats the best wax, how much to price the service for (we don't know until we get going how long it will take us per wax so I feel it would be better to maybe offer a discount for the 1st few clients, but how much?)

All your info and experience is really needed guys and we would totally appreciate it...

Hi,
I am currently working in a salon that specialises in brazilian waxing. I got trained in there academy and we have been trained to do it in 20 mins but most salons take longer than that. We charge £20 for a brazilian and £25 for a hollywood but have half price treatments in the academy. We have are own wax but any gentle wax should do. If you want to make money this is what u need to be doing and you have to be good at it. We have been trained to very high standards and all we do is waxing all day, men and women in all areas of the body. Most days we are back to back with clients and we usually have 4 therapists in at a time and in a full day we usually do over 20 clients each.

I did my training with Kim, she is absolutely brilliant!!! I have only done normal waxing but from personal experience of having a Hollywood wax you def need to use non strip wax for intimate waxing - it is far less painful!!

You won't get better than Kim Lawless (the wax queen).
She will give you all the info on best wax to use, pricing, and etiquette etc.
Her classes are relaxed and informal and very 'hands-on'
