I would endorse this, your first port of call should be your GP.

hi - i haven't had a boob job, and don't need one (well, maybe a lift one day if things carry on the way they are!), but I do work in a bra shop so see a lot of people everyday that have had enlargments, reductions and lumpectomys etc. What I would suggest to you is to have a proper bra fitting before you go to see a consultant. And i mean a proper bra fitting with somewhere that does it by eye - not with a tape measure (like certain big chains that will remain nameless!)

The amount of people that come in for a fitting after surgery and are very shocked with the size - if you think you're wearing for example a 36D and a surgeon tells you they're makeing you a 36E then it's highly likely if you have a fitting it will be incorrect and you'll end up really being a 32FF of something (much more common than you'd think!)

Anyway, hope I'm making sense and haven't waffled on to much but the amount of women wearing the wrong size bra is shocking!!

thanks hun i did have a bra fitting at marks and spencers about four months ago dont no if they are any good i will take your advice though and try a specialist bra shop for another measure up to see if there is a differnce thanks x

My friend done this the other week and she was shocked at the actual size bra that she should have been wearing, I'm going to do this too because hers was a vast difference. I know that I have bought bras in the ssize I think I am and they are not comfortable at all.

I have myself measured every 6 months (they use a tape measure) and I seem to stay a consistent size.

The big thing that I have noticed though is not all bra's are the same size. For instance, I wear a 34E Bravissimo bra quite comfortably, but for instancce a Triumph 34E is far too small. So the sizes and fit differ from brand to brand and that does get on my wick a bit, but I suppose it's the same with shoes.

yes this is true - however Bravissimo don't make their own bras. We stock bras from lots of other companies but do a much bigger size range than a lot of other places that sell the same brands. Bravissimo do however make their own clothes and strappy tops with built in bras.

But yes, even in the same make e.g. Freya then 2 bras can fit slightly differently. Not everyone can wear the same shape obviously - i'm always making comparisons with shoes!!!

Mine have always been small anyways went to Marks and Spencer for a bra fitting tried on the 34A and that was gaping at the front tried
the 32A on that was to tight on the back, the lady measured me and looked down her glasses perched on the end of her nose and says this is because you are a 32AA my dear which is smaller than a 32A:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

So I just wear my chicken fillets when I go out as to scared to have a breast englargement

Meant to say I was a 34 AA which is smaller than a 34 A

i just had to add - although i'm a bra fitter and know what i'm doing i thought i'd measure myself with a tape meausre and see what size i work out to be that way, well apparently i'm a 32E....I'm really a 30G !! Just goes to show how wrong it is and that you can't always trust a tape meausre!!

hello i have had mine done !

my first call was at the doctors he suggested Nuffield hospital Wolverhampton only 10min walk from where i live. to me this made all the difference going to a real hospital ( Bupa private) rather than a converted house with a couple of surgeons. i can not fault the hospital, nurses and my surgeon Mrs Matey they did a fantastic job and it has changed my world having this done.

my sister in law had hers done there back in march and has nothing but good things to say about them.

my op was in 2005 so i'm now 20 months post op if you need any more info just ask.

i forgot to say i never went and had a bra fitting done before surgery i was so ashamed of them i just used to pick up a 32a and pay for it as i knew even this would be to big

since having them done i have gone through lots of sizes and find it a nightmare remembering which size i am at which shop. i think i now measure a 30E or (30F if it has padding in the cup) this is what M&S have said anyway and these sizes do fit well and are very comfy but when i go to somewhere like La Senza well it's a different story i came out the other day with a 34DD .

p.s what place is the best for bra fitting ?
i wont tell anyone honest, you can whisper if you like :)

before going to the ultimate of having implants maybe you should consider herbal remidies which are widley available ....the costs vary from between £25-85.....per month course and are available on the internet.
The brand we sell is receiving good results from ladies with a success rate of around 75%.
For someone who hasnt previously grown breast tissue it is of course much harder work to stimulate breast tissue growth however for those ladies out there that have previously grown breast tissue but the breasts have "headed south" so to speak due to hormonal and childbirth issues these courses have a higher success rate than for the younger lady who hasnt as yet been able to produce breast tissue.
generally the first months course tends to pout and firm the breast and after further usage then breast tissue growth is encouraged...so ideal for you ladies out there who mearly want a "Lift"
There are some rather intresting side effects as well...there are many brands out there and maybe you might think its a con...well if it doesnt work on you then you would be right in thinking so...however we have numerouse ladies who have been succesfull in either pouting of the breast and/or been succesfull in growing breast tissue...so for a realitivley low spend you could in fact benifit...the only 100% way of breast enlargement is to either install breast implants(which will at some point in your life will have to be removed..fun while it lasts but the future is bleak )or try an alternative way..if it works for you then great ..a lot of expense and pain saved..if it doesnt well you are no worse of realy..then maybe consider the inplant option.
Hoping this is helpfull

Wow !!!

All you lucky girls. I would love to have breast implants but im too scared. Im scared of the after pain and if my body rejected them ..

Does this still happen.

Iv wanted them done since I was 18 and im now 30 maybe one day I will have the courage.

My mum laughs at me as I had an elective c section, she says how can you have your stomach cut open but you cant have your breast done

I am puzzled 2 by this !!!!!!

Has anyone had this.
How much was it and how did you find your care.

:)

Hi my freind has had her's done she lost 5 st so what was left was unsightly! but omg how FANTASTIC do they look, wish i had the money to have mine done, good luck

I had mine done 22nd January this year. I did a lot of research first as have wanted it done for years. I opted for Bupa (now Spire) at Leicester. Had my operation on 22nd January and six days later I was back at work. I am extremely happy to say the least.

If you would like any info please drop me a pm. xx
