I have had a couple of enquiries from brides-to-be asking if I do Hair-ups as well as make-up. The answer is 'no' but it is something I am very interested in learning to do. Now that I have completed my beauty therapy diploma and summer hols are on the way, it is something I am keen to experiment with, and my 14 yr old will be the perfect model.
I have viewed Paterick Cameron's Website and viewed some of his books. I don't necessarily want to do a hair-up course just yet, but is one required to attend a certificated course in order to get insurance coverage? (I will contact the Guild tomorrow)
As far as I am aware, one does not have to be a hair dresser to do hair-ups so please correct me if I am wrong here. Howevever, what are the requirements re. being covered for insurance as one has to use ghd's, curling irons etc and there is a risk to injury or damage......
Does anybody know please?
