hi, I have my first bride coming up, I am giving her a trial spray tan next week to see if she likes it, do i charge my normal rate for any trial i do, thanku x

I would definitely charge her your normal rate for the trial. After all, she's going to benefit from a week-long glorious top-to-toe golden tan xx

Hi there, because I dont do bridal packages, I just charge the same as I normally would, I probably take a bit longer with the brides tan just being extremely particular about pre & after care just so its all good for them but charge the same as normal

I always give the bride a free trial well in advance of the wedding (only on a Monday or Tuesday evening - I am mobile) and I find, as a result, I get great business from it as I then get to spray tan the bridesmaids, mother of bride, family, friends etc...

Do you give just the bride a free trial ? x

I think if I were giving away free trials I would do so only once I've received payment (or a deposit at least) for the main event. Call me cynical but I would be worried that once word got around (as it surely would, where freebies are concerned) I would be inundated with faux brides wanting to try it out.

Yes, it is just the bride that gets the free trial and I had a few faux brides 'trying it on' so that is why I only do trials on Mondays or Tuesdays cos no one is really interested in getting their tans done then lol (except the authentic ones!!) plus I am quiet those days and it does not affect my usual business on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday...

instead of free trials , why not consider a voucher ? they book in and pay for a trial package (we do a trial tan and make up package) and then if they book the full package, they get a voucher for either a free treatment or a discount?

in our salon we offer a bridal package for £35, which includes a trial. Normal price is £22 full body spray tan. They pay the cost at the time of their trial. X
