Hi, I'm hoping to do my gel conversion in the next few weeks (IF i find my vtct cert, pregnant and forgetful!) and I'll be training in Brisa gel.

I understand I'll get the master kit when I do the training, and i'm going to use the cut the cord deal and trad in my old college lamp.

I've looked what there is in the kit, but what other gels do you recommend I get to go with it. I've looked at the coverage pinks, warm, cool etc and I'm confused! Which would you say its best to get to start of with for doing extended nail beds in gel p+w? do I try and get them all, money permitting, when I go, or would you suggest just the warm opaque pink cool opaque pink etc. I don't want to not get anything that may be important! Do all you brisa geeks have everything.
I really don't know where to start, is there as many as there seems!?

Oh and i'm not getting the bolds or shimmers for now, i'm getting them for my birthday after the baby lol

I've asked loads of gel questions in the last few weeks, and had some very patient and helpful replies, thanks!

Hi, good luck with the pregnancy. I don't want to sound unhelpful, but why don't you wait until you do your conversion course as I'm sure your educator will be only too pleased to advise you. After all as you say you need to spend wisely.

Sue:)

I did the brisa conversion on monday and it was great, you'll love it, my educator had all her colours there for us to see and try, i'd leave it till the day and you can hopefully try them, or at least see them in the "flesh" so you can decide! good luck! xxx

I agree wait until you get there and see them for yourself. I havent bought all the shimmers and I'm glad I didnt as I'm trying to promote custom blending at the mo and will promote shimmers at another time.

I've just done the cut the cord brisa conversion and thoroughly enjoyed it. I opted for the smaller intoduction kit, as I would rather put the extra money towards gels I want, as opposed to getting a stack more tips, cuticle remover and scrubfresh in the master pack, which I already have.

I'm interested in the coverage gels and only seem to use the neutral pink in l&p, so I think I'm going to stick with that. The only thing that's disappointed me a bit so far is that the soft white gel still seems very white. I am wanting something very 'Natural' looking and so it seems that mixing is the only way to go?

I'm a real Brisa fan and have them all. To start off with I would have at least one coverage gel - neutral opaque would be my choice.

The colours are great for tweaking custom blends and mixing coloured 'polish like' finishes and the shimmers really do add something.

I would also get at least one soft white, paint on or sculpting, as it is essential for those that don't want bright white, though I have to say, that I use the colours to tone down the white - HTH

Hi Adele, when you're tweaking and mixing, do you mean taking a few scoops and putting them into one of those little dish type things you get with the bolds? Do you make up little batches and store them in something or just make up enough for the service you're working on at the time? Sorry if this sounds a bit basic, but it's so different to l&p, and I'm just starting to find my way with gel.
