When i did my brisa gel course my tutor said to keep my gels away from my uv lamp cos they'll cure in the pot, so i have been..

but i did my mums nails yesterday in the conservatory (very sunny) and i think my gel has cured in the pot. would the sunlight have done this- uv rays and all??

v. annoying as the gel pots are pretty new and its done it on both my white and pink. Is there any way to "uncure" the pots?

i hope ive made sense

xxxx

Yes hun sun light will cure your Brisa as it is UV as well.
Sadly you cant uncure the gel.
Be aware if you have any Gel on your brush and leave it sitting around near your lamp or in view of a window any gel will cure solid and ruin your brush

:grr: this makes me sad!!!!

yeah i keep my brush away from it too... it just didnt cross my mind that the sunlight would do it.. and i was thinking something isnt quite right here lol

This happened to me too when I first started & it was in a conservatory - However my pots were out of the way - but it cured on her toenails before it went under the lamp :suprised:..

Needless to say I learned by lesson.
