Sorry if there is a thread on this already but in a rush and haven't had chance to look properly. I have just trained in using Brisa gel so still getting the hang of it, but finding when I use the Brisa white paint and gloss, where I'm covering the free edge and sides, it's looking a bit bulky after it's cured. I'm trying to make sure I put on enough of each to ensure correct coverage and avoid shrinking problems, but presumably then putting on bit too much. With the paint, can you use the file to refine it slightly to tidy the sides and free edge? I'm assuming you wouldn't do this with the gloss after curing, but correct me if I'm wrong. When I watch the video on CND website it looks so easy and neat, but mine doesn't seem to come out that way! Practice I know!:)

PS would just like to add the training was brilliant, but my minds a bit of a blur now as so much has been happened since then, so just want a point in the right direction.

To be honest, I often prefer to apply two thin coats, rather than to try to cover in one. You can use a soft buffer to thin before applying the gloss if there is something you want to correct, but be very careful not to remove the white paint. You wouldn't normally use a buffer on the high shine finishing gloss but you can if you want to correct something and then use a glossing buffer to bring to a shine again if needed. HTH
