Brisa Lite Smoothing Gel under Gelish?

I have used BL Smoothing Gel under CND Shellac to add extra strength for clients who need it for a while now. I have recently introduced a few Gelish colours to my complete CND Shellac collection. Is it ok to use BL Smoothing Gel under Gelish? I know Gelish have their own version but if possible would like to use BL Smoothing Gel as it's a system I already have. Thanks in advance.

I've done it loads. I use shellac but the salon where I work doesn't as the owner doesn't like it. I don't have have a massive colour choice so my clients in variably choose from the 100s of Gelish we also do.

I use the Brisa base coat and smoothing gel then finish with the coloured gel and gelish top coat. Gelish does seem to have a better longevity I have to say!

Thanks for your reply. I'm trying out Gelish on myself and a few clients before I buy too many more. I'm liking it so far. X
