I have just purchased the Brisa Gel intro pack and am waiting for my conversion course. I have read everyones rave reviews on Brisa and it happens to be available at a local supplier making it a lot more convenient to purchase. I have watched the video, however, I still have a few questions. First, when my clients come in for a rebalance, do you recommend removal of the current gel on their nails or can Brisa be applied overtop of the existing gel? Second, it doesn't say in the video about colored smile lines. Do you have to trench in a new smile line and completely remove the gel at the smile line and free edge or can the free edge just be thinned down? Third, I am assuming the paint on white is applied after the rebalance and the nails are shaped and filed. Apply paint on white, cure, and top gloss. Is this incorrect? Does there need to be an inhibition layer on the nails before the paint on white? Any and all advice is appreciated.

If they have L+P or a buff-off gel on their nails then it's fine to use Brisa over the top.
Personally, I wouldn't apply it over a soak off gel.

You'll need to have a 180 grit finish to allow the gel to adhere to the existing product with the shine removed from the natural nail and apply Brisa Bond.

If mixing up a colour to use on the free edge I would thin the enhancements down then apply the coloured free edge and then zones 2 and 3 with clear (pulling some clear over the free edge colour)... if you're doing an opaque pink nail bed then I would do zones 2 and 3 first, cut in your smile line (with your brush) before curing, then apply colour to free edge and follow it up with a coat of clear before final buffing/finishing.

Yes... although, you can apply your POW and then apply clear to the whole enhancement, the choice is yours, the product is very versatile.

Either an inhibition layer or a 180 grit finish.
I would wait for my conversion class before using the gel on paying clients to be honest, it's always better to wait, even though you'll be champing at the 'bit' to get on with it :green:
