Broken my nail plate whilst applying tips

Hi guys

I'm in the middle of applying a new set on myself. Everything was going well until I realised I broke my nail down to the bed while filing the shape (was trying stiletto) on my left pinky.

It's just the tip I've applied so should I soak it off bearing in mind it's broken the skin or should I apply the l&p anyway and wait for it to grow out? I've cut the tip right down so it's just straight across the tip of the finger.

i would seal it over with a little adhesive and then proceed.

keep it short and wait for it to grow out. i think it will be more comfortable with a layer of protection over it.
