Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can put my mind at rest...
I did a full set tip and overlay 2 weeks ago on Sunday, and she had her first rebalance this Sunday, all nails were intact and perfect
So I rebalanced as normal (athough to be fair I don't do many of them), and was very happy with the finished result, looked just like the first set. She phoned me yesterday (i.e. one day later) to say she had broken one, so I went round tonight to fix it. She'd since broken another one, but it was literally the corner of the very tip that had broken off, so I repaired that one for free, as I'm sure that was prob my fault making the free edge too thin.
The original broken nail had split right across the smile from side to side, and the whole extension was just gone. But there was no damage to the natural nail (not that there was much nail exposed) that I could see. It was like a more extreme version of what had happened on the other nail, except the whole tip had snapped off. I repaired by sculpting and added more to the apex, even though it was built up quite high to start with, imo it looked a bit TOO curvy when I had finished.
Do you think this was my fault? I can't see how it could be as I built all nails the same as the original set, which she coped fine with, but then how can it be her fault if she managed fine for the first two weeks?
She had no problems paying me, so I'm guessing she thinks it's her fault, but I'm just so paranoid about getting another call saying more have broken, and maybe it's something I've done?
