Brown hair colour

Hi, I am looking for advice please with hair colour. I am naturally level 4 with 70% grey and finding level 4 too dark but level 5 turns brassy. Can I mix level 4 & 5 together to get in between colours.
Would really appreciate some help. Thank you.
