3-4 months ago I waxed my face. I have very sensitive skin as I get acne whenever I wax. However, my cheekbone area did not get acne neither did the skin hurt, but after a week I noticed that a brown patch formed. I'm trying a brightening cream, but it is of no use. I think the pigmentation is because of exposing myself to the sun without sunscreen. Please could anyone tell me will the patch go way? Does anyone have a similar experience ? I'm so worried.

Hi Fangirlish, welcome to the forum.

It could be that you have started with the pigmentation problems due to ageing and hormonal changes? Melasma or chloasma is possibly what you have , made worse by waxing and then exposure to the sun without any good SPF. It must be factor 30 at least for decent protection and wear a hat.
It may fade with time if it is that, but only if you stay out of the sun.
Why not seek advice form your GP to start with? That would rule out any other reason for it.
