Here is a picture attached of a lady who's brows I shaped with wax and tweezers. She too was taught that you shouldn't remove anything from the top but was thrilled when I did and she saw the finished results.

I would have liked it if the inner edge of her brows grew in line with the inner corner of her eye, but they didn't and you have to work with what you've got.

Hope this inspires you to perfect the art of brow shaping as it really does transform the total look and shape of the face.

its amazing how much it has opened up her eye in the after photo.i can see why she was pleased with them.
i really wish even more so i had left my eyebrows for you now but hey we learn the hard way.
thanks for sharing and all your help.:hug:xx

Great before and after picture kim. what a difference ;)

Its really good to see how its done correctly. I have been okay at the shape and removing those very long hairs in the middle of the brow but until you said to me that it is okay to remove from the top, I would never have dreamt of touching them there!! So thank you:)

Kim I must admit I was wetting myself when you suggested I used scissors on Claires!! Lol, however I did and they looked amazing once I was done (using your template!!!)

Kim its been said before I shall say it again, you rock chuck!! xxxxx:green:

Yup Claire had rather "alot" of brow, so Kim suggested I used scissors and tweezers, I cut the "bushy" bits of brow a few mm in from the bridge of her nose, as they were a little wild shall we say!! Lol, levelled them off so to speak and tweezered in the shape after that!

Hope that made sense!!

On older people especially and men...it maybe necessary to trim to get a good result ..If you brush the brow upwards towards the hairline and some hairs stick out above all the other hairs give a little trim and then brush back along the brow line but dont go mad you can always take more off, little bits at a time are better until you know what you are doing or you will end up with blunt looking brows or bald patches.

got you.
i have a couple of giant super hairs that are about 1 1/2 inches long that i snip off to a reasonable length. if i plucked them there would be a gap.
