pls help

i have just 2wks to finish my NVQ2 in fabric & l&p, but the bristles of my brush-on resin by 'the edge' have got stuck together. what to do?

1. soak 'the edge' brush-on resin brush in acetone (will this melt the brush eventually?)

2. soak 'the edge' brush-on resin in 'brush saver'? (if so which brand & why)

3. buy 'brush saver' & use the brush that comes with this to apply my resin & then stick the brush back in the brush saver solution it came with every time i finish an application of resin? (ie i don't use 'the edge' brush to apply the resin at all)

i was getting some nice extns & NNOs before this happened :irked:

thanks so much everyone

hi i have saved a few of my old brushes that i was gonna get rid of with nsi brush cleaner it worked really well however they were l&p and gel brushes so dont know if it would have the same effect on your resin brush?!

I had a bit of l & p stuck in my brush and soaked it for 10 mins in acetone. Its fine but i wouldn't like to do it too often as i don't know what harm it would do.

hi
i use the edge resin a brush on 6g. what i do when it gets a little bent and clogged is soak it in acetone for a bit and then wipe it with a cloth ,if it needs a little longer i put it back in the acetone for a bit longer.it works for me .hth.xxxxxx:hug:
