Brushes for Acrylic Application?

I'm just starting to learn the application of acrylic l&p. My college kit is the Ibd Professional acrylic one and it came with an oval brush. Having seen many demos on you-tube by nailzoo using a flat brush, this looks a more usable shape. Can anyone let me know what type of brush they find the best?

I started off with a pointed brush, but after watching one of Nailzoo's wonderful videos(there are many of them), I made it into a flat brush and I must say I LOVE IT, its easier for me than the pointed brush.

I use the Grand#8 Kolinsky Sable brush from NSI. I spent a lot of time training my brush so that it is flat. It is now great. Sometimes, I think spending a bit of time training you brush to how you like it really pays off.
