I have read the couple of messages by Gigi about buffered acetone. I, like probably most nail technicians, did not realise that acetone was not always the same.
I have asked a chemist working with my hubby what it means and he explained it that buffered means to alter the pH so causing it to be less acidic. Is something added to buffered acetone? What?
Does this go the same for acetone based nail varnish removers. Should we be using the "Tip Remover" to remove varnish.
Please advise as I dont want to be using products which will dehydrate my clients fingers unnecessarily.
