Builder gel lifting

Hi.
Im having trouble with my builder gels lifting, im not sure if im not making it thick enough so its becoming prone to snapping.
My own nails are paper thin, so cant have just gel polish as its not strong enough.
Also having problems getting the cuticle and wall areas really neat, can anyone offer any hints or tips.

Yes, qualified in August. And im using The Manicure Company
Ive emailed them and they have checked all my processes and said im doing everything right, but im still having issues.
