building good apex on fibreglass nails

i cant seem to build a good apex on my fibreglass nails. im still training but im not sure whether im using the right products, or whether there are thicker resins about which are good. i use the thin resin to make the weave invisible and then i have a brush on resin. i also bought some wrapture gel by star nails, but i cant seem to build it up.

can anyone suggest a good make hat actually works, or is it just me???:cry:

where are you training, at college? (your profile didnt say much re products etc,,)

hi,

im doing a home learning course by essential nails, so i just have what they gave me. i.e the thin resin, and a brush on resin.

ive searched for builder resins, but i normally only find one by salon system.

Im guessing that they supplied you with all the products for your course??

the trouble with a home learn course is that you do not get the hands with an educator like you would in a class room situation,
they are good for underpinning knowledge but imo for the practical side will not be enough

I dont know much about home learn courses and the products you have been given to train with

The fiberglass system i use (ezflow) is what we call a dual system, meaning that you can combine both aspects of using brush on resin with spray activation and building resin with brush on activation, meaning you can get excellent structure into your work and build where needed

If you have never been taught to use building resin and only a brush on system then i would suggest that you look into getting some hands on classroom style education, to further yourself and your education journey

thanks for your reply. i was thinking that i shouold maybe do a "classroom" course. at least then someone can tell me where im going wrong.
