ooooh ouch ouch ouch  I don't normally wax the front area of my bikini but took the plunge today at work with one of the girls doing it for me and my skin's lifted just at the knicker line crease. Any one got any good tips for what helps to sooth/heal it quickly?

I do the underneath right round to the back no problem but this bit always lifts, hence why i don't go there myself! I'm sitting naked from the waist down, with my bikini area covered in a lavender and almond oil mix to help...any secret wonder tips would be greatly appreciated so i can close my legs again!:lol::lol:

Aloe vera ?

E45 cream is for burns and its amazing! Especially if you keep it in the fridge. Otherwise you could try sudocreme (sp?) xx

i did the exact same thing last night. DON'T use E45 or Sudacrem both absolutley stung me last night i was in tears. sorry didn't find out to stop the pain just stayed nakey lol

In future when you wax this area use talc this will help the wax stick to the hair and not the skin. As for the burning this evening, get someone to nip out and get you some natural yogurt it will really soothe your area.

Hope this helps

Lorraine xx

oooh i might try the yogurt thing! I normally use oil when i wax, my colleague used talc which i use sometimes too. Its just my skin, always lifts in this bit, just normally, I don't wax this bit lol:lol:

We have had a lady in one of our masterclasses that always had problems with the skin lifting and tearing and we used a combination of Platinum Soothing mask and Oil to calm and prepare the skin and it worked a treat!
As for now I would recommend the platinum mask on its own as that would help to calm and soothe...

Is this happening where the ligament is that sticks out when you have your leg in the wax position , you arnt waxing over it with it sticking out are you? .Also new guidelines are that you should not use talc in the bikini area ,something to do with ovarian cancer.Use oil instead.
Also a bit confused by title was it a burn or do you just mean some skin came off.The only reason for a burn is the wax is too hot.

Oil works much better when waxing. It's not as messy and provides a much better barrier next to the skin.
I think talc is becoming a thing of the past.

I cant imagine how sore it must be  I would put a bit put a bit of ice on it,apply some antiseptic and continue to use aloe vera gel. The fridge might be a good idea to store it in.
Hope it clears up quickly for you chick  xxx
Ps and try to wear cotton. French knickers will probably be better to stop the aggravation xxx

its right on the knicker line crease at the front and turning the corner....starting to scar and turn a manky colour now. wopee lol:lol:

A burn is not the same as lifting (which it sounds like you did). Aloe Vera is great for healing the skin. And definetly use oil next time instead of powder. The skin in the crease is delicate and tears easy if proper technique is not followed.
