In this day and age of on-the-go information, no less than 70%* of emails are read on mobile devices rather than computers. This means, that if you're email blast to potential clients and customers isn't mobile friendly, it's likely it'll get lost in the mix. Those determined that all their online messages are eye-catching and mobile-friendly are opting in to Shortcuts’ newly updated Set & Forget Marketing.

The service has gone through a recent revamp which, along with an easier-to-use interface and improved tracking, ensures all salon communications automatically reformat if they are opened on a mobile device. Instead of cutting images off and relegating information to a place off-screen or making it unreadable, emails sent through Set & Forget Marketing always look good and read well.

At the same time, the amendments made to the Set & Forget interface make it easier to use, edit and review emails in the system, with a more intuitive layout. Options are clearly presented, allowing an easy click-through to edit an existing email, check out a report, view recent campaigns and more.

And any activity is easier to monitor via Set & Forget’s new snapshot report of on-going campaigns, which gives users even more insight into which ones are working and which are not.

‘Salons have just seconds to get their message over to clients. With smart phones everywhere, it simply isn’t acceptable to be sending client emails that don’t display correctly on them. If a message doesn’t upload quickly and fully to fit the screen, clients will click off almost instantly and next time they get a message, they won’t even bother opening it,’ said Tom Bentley-Taylor, CEO of Shortcuts Software UK and Europe. ‘We want to ensure salons get it right. Not only is Set & Forget even easier to use and to monitor, it now automatically recognises when an email is opened on a mobile phone or tablet and only shows the recipient pretty, mobile emails.’

Coinciding with the update, beautiful new template designs have been added, along with matching online booking templates, allowing salons and spas a smooth and consistent appearance in all client communications.

So, if you want to make sure that your salon news gets seen, Shortcuts are offering you an easy, fool-proof way to make sure that it stands out even on the smallest of screens.

Until then...geek on!
