Hi
I understand that I may need planning permission & also have to pay business rates. Im not sure how this works as my business will only be part time. Has anyone had experience of either of these?

You shouldn't need either. Your premises should be too small for business rates, under small business rates relief. You also shouldn't need planning permission. You may need a license. You need to contact your council to check everything.

Hi
I've don't need a licence. Building regs wont tell me unless I put in a request which costs £65!!

Are you extending your home? Making any significant changes etc?
