Habia will be running a series of National Occupational Standards (NOS) workshops starting in Scotland on the 11th of February 2015 and subsequently visiting Yorkshire, Manchester, Birmingham, London, Cardiff and Belfast at later dates.
These one day workshops give training providers and industry professionals the opportunity to get first-hand detailed update the changes in the Beauty, Nails and Spa, National Occupational Standards (NOS) straight from their Standard Setting Body.
Following extensive industry consultation by Habia, the National Occupational Standards reflect the current and predicted industry practices required by employers and learners.
The workshops will each commence with registration and lunch at 12:00 after which the Habia team will provide an in-depth update on the recent changes and allow for a questions and answers session. The workshops are hosted by Tiffany Tarrant, Development Manager at Habia and will close at 15:30.
Caroline Larissey, Senior Development Manager said, "These Habia NOS workshops will provide professionals in the industry with the ideal opportunity to find out exactly how the standards have changed within Beauty, Nails and Spa. It will also give the opportunity for attendees to discuss anything they feel they may need clarity on."
In February 2014 a total of almost 300 people attended similar sessions relating to the changes in NOS for hairdressing and Barbering and Habia advise to book early to guarantee a place. Tickets for each workshop cost £49 plus VAT and include lunch and refreshments. Places are limited at each workshop.
