Hi,

I went to a Calgel 'try before you buy' session at the weekend. Can anyone advise me - do you think clients look for tech's who have a certain product e.g. Calgel or do you think as long as their nails are done well they aren't really bothered what you use?

The Calgel was lovely to work with and the colours were very nice too.

Also can anyone advise me on Brisa Colours - I know they do the bold and shimmer gels but are they easy to work with as you have to custom blend the colours and not actually worked with them yet but am wanting to offer Gel colours.

Wondering whether to take the plunge and change to Calgel or invest in training with CND....?

If anyone out there is doing one or the other or both any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers, Lynsey x :lol::lol:

I have had both worlds with my clients - most came to me regardless of the product used, and then I have had some the came because I used Bio Sculpture.

I havent used the 2 products that you mention but you cant really compare the 2 as they would be used for different purpose really.

If the product does the job that your clients are after then that is what counts. It is a matter of using the right product for the clients needs.

i have had a couple of clients come to me because i use calgel. They had phoned the head office and been given my number as local to them.

I use the Brisa gel and have the colours, the shimmers and all the opaque gels for custom blending. I'd recommend Brisa - it is lovely to work with and produces really strong enhancements.
