Calgel Overlay

Hi, I have a new client coming to me tomorrow who has calgel on natural nails but is not happy with her current nail tech. I told her I don't do calgel but she says she doesn't mind changing to ordinary gel overlay.

Does anyone know if I will be okay to file down her existing calgel and then overlay as usual or will the different product possibly cause problems.

Grateful for any help as only been doing nails for a couple of months.

Hiya,
Personally I would'nt recommend going over a soak-off gel with any other type of gel
Calgel soaks off real quick anyway.
So, if I were you I would give her a brand new set thats all your own work. hth.

Thanks for that. I didn't realise Calgel was a soak off as don't know much about this product. Would I soak off in Acetone?
