I did a full set of Trendy Nail wraps on a client last night, looked stunning. however she called me this morning to say the big toe was coming off, im going back in a bit to replace it but totally dont undertstand how i Any advice girls on how it could have happened and what i could say to her? Shes going on holiday tomorrow for 2 weeks and i really obv want them to last for her as she is an amazing client. One of my other clients has had hers on for 7 weeks so im not sure whats happened this time.......

thanks girlies xxx

I had this happen once, did you clean the nail plates thoroughly? did you use cuticle remover? I usually do but on once occasion completely forgot to take the remover off one foot and next day they were all off!

I wear these myself and they still look perfect after 6-7 weeks.

I'm convinced it's the prep.

hope you get it sorted x

me too, totally stressing it lol xx

I've heard wearing ugg type boots or tight feeting shoes/boots can cause them to come loose and slide and rub of due to the heat and friction so I always advise them to wear flipflops (bit hard at this time of yr) and avoid tight fitting footwear for first 24hrs whilst they properly set.

Sorry to hijack but can I ask if you are applying them with a gel or acrylic overlay? My sister called NSI and asked the correct way to apply the wraps and they told her to do his otherwise they wont last?

Thanks

Hi,
I did some Minx on a client this week and the first little toe wouldn't stick. i left it and came back at the end.
I think it was either
1)feet were very cold or
2) I'd still got some Scrubfresh on nail that hadn't evaporated as feet were SOOOOOO cold again
Hope that helps
