Can acrylics with Shellac be infilled?

This might be a daft question; but I have had a client booked in for acrylics with shellac overlay - that went great & client was very happy.

She has now booked in for Infills & a new shellac overlay in time for Christmas; is if as simple as buffing the shellac off the enhancement & Infills as usual, then application of new shellac?

I feel like I would be doing someone wrong by buffing as a removal instead of using CND nourishing remover; but I don't want it to effect the acrylic enhancement!

You need to buff off and infill as normal
