Can any hair professionals give me salary advice?

Hi All

This is my first post on the site.

My question is with regards to the wages / salary of a full time hairdresser. My new investment is a hairdressing salon that I am to half convert into a nail salon.

As i'm not as familiar with the hair industry (that part of the business i'm taking on purely from a business point of view) I have no idea what kind of average wage / salary I would need to look at offering somebody with substantial experience.

Can anyone help me out with some ideas of averages?

Well its a bit of a ways from me, but i would say for depending on experience and any clientelle they are bringing with you start at £6 and anything up to £15 per hour. Or you could do a minimum salary and make it commision based. Or you could rent a chair.

May i suggest Salon Software, Salon Iris Software, Spa Software, Tanning Salon Software, Salon Iris its a software program.

we are new on here and have found the site very helpfull so far.
once all the paperwork is complete we'll be in our new salon, very scared as we have no hairdressing experience at all.
we have decided to try to get some staff on a 50/50 split.
