Hi Guys,
posted a thread yesterday asking about courses, after some thought n consideration decided to apply to my local college to da a NVQ level 2 nail technician course!
Just wanted to know what ur thoughts of this were n if i will get all the basics from this course??

Hi,

I did the nail technician course as a part of my nvq level 3 beauty therapy course and I have to say it wasn't for me. I can't speak for the college you'll be attending but I found our tutors were very old fashioned and the training I received was substandard...so much so that when I qualified, I didn't feel comfortable offering nail enhancements as a service to my clients. I have recently booked myself onto the CND foundation course and I am going learn again from scratch...hopefully I'll gain the valuable information all good techs need in order to succeed.
