You are on the best one! Have a look at the public gallery, and also (under community) peoples albums, there are some stunning free art designs on there. Take a desig, play around with it, and change the colours, you'll have loads to go off x

The problem is it all depends what your skill level is. Hand painted nail art can be anything from a few simple lines right up to portraits that include shading that look extremely realistic.
Anything above simple lines, IMHO requires education so that you learn how to make 20 -30 lines styles and can train your hand. Above this is simple painting of objects and beyond this is many more advanced techniques, which includes chinese painting (a 2 day education in itself).
