Can anyone recommend any good freehand nail art design websites?

So I can look at designs, as I'm trying to get better and would like some practice but have no imagination for designs myself.

You are on the best one! Have a look at the public gallery, and also (under community) peoples albums, there are some stunning free art designs on there. Take a desig, play around with it, and change the colours, you'll have loads to go off x

me too would love any ideas for freehand tep by step designes
i have been looking at borders, waterstones ect but thr only ones available are in chinese on the net

The problem is it all depends what your skill level is. Hand painted nail art can be anything from a few simple lines right up to portraits that include shading that look extremely realistic.

Anything above simple lines, IMHO requires education so that you learn how to make 20 -30 lines styles and can train your hand. Above this is simple painting of objects and beyond this is many more advanced techniques, which includes chinese painting (a 2 day education in itself).

If you really want to learn painting, why not contact Kirsty Meakin and arrange a class? She is extremely talented and a multiple competition winner. Kirsty writes an article in Scratch and you can get her info from that.

Or, fly to Sweden and book a course with my wife! :lol:
