Can anyone recommend me any internet sites or good books for college plz

hi guys im really new to this site so would just like to thank anyone who reads this. I'm currently studying at college to be a beauty therapist in the nail department first of all. I have been given my first assignment to do and after spending the day at 2 different librarys i feel very disappointed at they only had 3 books on nail services, told me they can order me them in but with christmas fast aroaching its gonna cut it fine for my assignment dead line. So thought i'd ask on here as i dont mind going out and buying books if i know they're good so wondered if anyone can recommend any to me or any good internet sites.the main topics for my assignment are: contra indications to acrylic nails/green discolouration etc etc i think personally this question is very un fair as we're not even covering acrylics in this course!!
i also have to research professional manicure ranges, diabetes and pedicures and a few other things

would be really grateful for any replys thanks vicky xx

Hi, as a newbie nail tech and someone who is doing a mani/pedi course at college, I would definitely agree with those three (as I am sure anyone on here would!) plus I also find The Encyclopedia of Nails by Jacqui Jefford and Anne Swain useful for assignments.

thanks alot girls for the replys will go and look for the books that you recommended this week.I have found some of the information i was looking for from internet search engines but havent found everything hopefully will be in the books
