Hi guys. I work part time in my regular job and i do spray tanning at other times lol. But lately I have fancied doing a course in beauty. I can already do acrylic nails. I am just looking ahead at maybe one day packing in my job and doing beauty on a mobile basis full time. I would really like to know if you can do beauty at night schools or do you think it would be better to just get qualifications in different areas I am interested in ?

Hi ya It might depend on where you are living we are realy lucky where I am as i am qualified in beauty nvq2 but had to do that full time when my son was 2 and it was hard work with childcare and everything but just recently our local school has had a 6th form built and this year are providing nvq3 in spa and holistic therapies in the eve 2 nights a week in which i cant wait xx But if you search round your local area because of all these extra 6th forms being built you may be lucky?? worth ringing up local college to find out as they will soon know there timetables for sep... hope things go ok for you and wish you luck. xx Tan xx

Hi,
I studied for NVQ2 in Beauty Therapy part-time over 2 years - it was a Tuesday night 6 til 9pm so fitted perfectly around my full-time job.
I know 2 years probably sounds like ages but it goes quickly (well it did for me!) and gives you plenty of time to get practising everything on friends and family before you qualify.
