Hoping someone can help? I have a client who is in her 70's and has never had a manicure because she has a deformed thumb (since accident in a factory years ago). It was basically chopped off at the end so has a bulbous end and a really really tiny bit of nail plate that isn't flush with the thumb, kind of embedded in (like a really over-exaggerated nail biters nail). I would absolutely love to do something for her as she was so embarrassed and nervous about it (trying to hide it!) when she came to me for a manicure with her daughter (for the first time ever in her life!) Any advice would be gratefully appreciated (I trained in l&p with Creative in 2002 but don't remember anything about reconstruction techniques in particular and have never had any requests for it). Really hope someone can help, it would be great to give her some confidence after all those years. Thanks Guys xxx

hiya hun,
I Had a client who chopped off her little finger in a double glazed window when she was little. I did a little reconstruction on it because she wanted enhancements. Her nail was a little bulbous and had like a separate part growing right next to it. I think the pics are in my album xoxox

If you used a custom blend it could maybe work. You could do french Mani and just hide her nail with a custom blend nno. I believe Geeg told me that the little fingers and the thumbs are actually the ones that done get noticed alot on the hand. So any custom blend would work wonders on her. It did my client.
