:cry:I am going to excel in March but am in a dilemma on whether or not I would be aloud to take my baby in??
I am traveling up from cornwall so I will be staying in london on the weekend but I'm still breast feeding so am reluctant to leave baby behind. Although he will take a bottle I wouldn't be happy to disrupt my feeding.
I know that you're not aloud to take children into wholesalers so I was wondering if any of you would know if it's going to be ok to take baby as there is no phone number on the tickets for me to ring and enquire.
anna :irked:

No under 16's are allowed at the trade shows usually.

TBH it really isn´t the place for babies or children. it can get very hot and very busy and crowded ... and as Lell says Under 16s aren´t allowed in (although there always is)-

One of my clients took a bus of school children to Excel last year. They were not 16yrs.

Not really an exciting day trip is it

Too right, not my idea of fun!

i remember seeing on my ticket before that no under 16's or babies in prams will be admitted i would check before you go.

I'm still breastfeeding too, hun, and I'm there for 2 days, but she is staying with her Daddy and having expressed milk by bottle. As others have said...its just not a place I would want to take a baby! It would be a nightmare trying to get round and the buggy would be frequently banged and bumped, (by accident) I'm sure.

And I know people have been refused entry with a pushchair before.

'Pump and dump', is really your only option I'm afraid, unless you want to carry a coolbag with you as well.

If you wanna discuss options more...feel free to pm me, I'm a BF mother supporter and training to be a breastfeeding counsellor, so will help anyway I can.

DONT DO IT
Honestly as adults we need nerves of steel to get through the day with out wanting to kill someone,
everyone is walking around with lots of very large bags, most of which just get dragged around the show as they are too heavy to carry and a lot of people (me included) take suitcases that can be dragged around on wheels and as you can imagine we are all looking towards which stall we want to visit next so don't really look where we are going,
it is a great atmosphere and no one loses there temper as we are all doing the same thing but it not a safe area for prams hun,
can you take daddy or a babysitter for while you are in the show then you don't have to leave your little one at home
