Would it be ok to store NSI gel in the fridge as it is too thin and runny to use if I keep it in my desk at work. I have put it in the fridge for an hour or so before, but would it be ok to store it there? :?:

I'm sure its not very advisable to store your product this way. You also shouldn't be storing it anywhere that its warm enough to make it go runny. Find a happy medium in a dark drawer or cabinet in a covered container. If its still too thin for your liking you could try their body builder gels, they have a thicker viscosity than the regular builder gels and are great if you live in a warmer climate

It is the builder gel and also the white which is going runny. It is just too hot in the salon and also in my desk drawer. I have now stored it in the desk and will just have to hope that I get an hour or so notice before someone wants gel again.

The only problem is that the salon I work in is has morons makingsome of my appointments. The owner also takes away the appointment sheets too, so I dont always know what time clients are coming in!!!!! Oh for an easier life and to work with normal people with brains!! Anyone want a good nail tech in the Manchester area?

do you use the builder gels or the BODY builder gels? there is a big diffrence in the consistency, if the builder gels are too runny for your climate, you should try the body builder gels. I dont think even popping them in the fridge for an hour before an appointment is advisable as they have strict storage requirements.... If switching to the body builder gels doesnt work it might be worth it to talk to the owner of the salon about air conditioning:) If it could potentially cost you clients she should take it as a valid complaint.

I could be totally wrong about the fridge though, maybe its OK. You can always call NSI and ask what they recommend, or maybe someone else has some ideas??
