Hi

My mum has been diagnosed with skin cancer - it has been removed and hopefully that will be the last of it! I was thinking of getting her a few treatments of thread vein removal for a mothers day gift and was just wondering if it was okay for her to get this done. As far as I know she doesnt have to take any medication (although im not sure if she is withholding the whole truth from me to protect me!). Does anyone know?? Thanks!

I wouldn't get her any treatments without a letter of consent from her GP.
Mums do withold the truth so we don't hurt so much, I think it's a natural thing.
I'd be on the safe side just to be sure hun x

You could phone the salon and ask their advice. I would imagine they'd say the same as 1999judy, that she'd need GP's permission. I hope your mum's ok now.

Thanks, i think i'lll give the doc a ring!
