Perhaps contact The Prince's Trust who may help with funding for your course(s).

What about checking out at learn direct?, they may have the answer to help you.

What about a part time job in a bar or something else to help you save up some funds

i'm 19 and i have to pay for my courses, i know what you mean its so expensive! because im working full-time i can't get help but if you are unemployed or only part-time on a low wage i think the jobcentre might help you x

Thanks for all your ideas guys! Ive contacted the princes trust as they give grants if your between 14-30 and wanting to do a course.xx

I got my 3 year beauty course for free.

I was European Funded as I was retraining after being a mum for years and years (9), not claiming benefits or working.

Obviously you have to be an old stick like me to that that kind of funding!

Trish

If you are studying at a college or university you can contact their student support department. They can often give you grants towards travel and course materials depending on your circumstances.
When I was a young single parent I did a degree and I got £300 every half term towards books and stuff. May not seem like much but it helped a great deal. If you are doing a college course, give their student support team a ring and see what they can sugest.
