I've had someone book in for a Pedicure next week. She is 4 months pregnant and has also requested if I can give her a hand massage on it's own, not a full manicure, as she is suffering with carpal tunnel and it's really sore for her.
She is going on holiday and by all accounts is flying and said she has heard it can get worse from the air pressure. Although I'm not sure having a massage beforehand will help with that
I have to admit this is the strangest request I've had yet and I obviously don't have a separate price for providing just a hand massage, it's usually just part of my manicure service.
So firstly, is this something I can do for her? I don't know much about carpal tunnel treatment and obviously don't want to make it worse in any way.
And if it is something I can do for her, would you charge or just do it FOC seeing as she's already having another treatment? Would I just do a massage as I would on others or special attention given to just the wrist area itself with slow, gentle rotations?
