Hi this is my first post. Have been reading through the forum for a few months but not had courage before to post

I have recently retrained in L&P and Gel. My questions is about L&P really.

What ratio would you use for L&P in a warmer country? Is there any difference? I found (when practicing as not actually carried out a service on a client yet!!) that the L&P was setting a lot faster. Just wondered about the ratio as obviously not wanting to cause over exposure to clients once I actually start having clients.

Thanks

Welcome to the site :D

You need to try and make your working environment as cool as possible, difficult if you don't have air-con though.
I hated working with L+P this summer as it was particularly hot here and found that not only did I have to alter my mix ratio slightly (a tad wetter) but also had to work a lot faster, more so with the white.

It's nice working with it now that summer has gone :D

hth's a bit

Thank you Sandie, I'll just need to up the air conditioning :). I did try the ratio a bit wetter and it did help but as you say I had to practice that bit faster!!
