Carrying products on flights

do you think ill be ok carrying a small amount of product in my case, just in case i break a nail while in mexico, i did hear that it was ok to carry very small amounts (nail varnish size bottles)

any views would be good

Hi ,

As far as I am aware you are NOT able to take any monomer on a flght as this is flammable .

In hand luggage you are only allowed to take 100ml of any liquid . This includes things like make up cleanser , nail polish WATER etc etc

Things have really tightened up

I agree ! i would put anything you need in your case not hand luggage they are really tight on everything now ! have a fab holiday honey xxx

You would not be able to put Monomer in hand luggage . It cannot be taken on a flight - full stop Comes under dangerous substance

And even if you took 100ml of say cleanser but it was in a 200ml bottle they would not let you take that either !!!!!

Trust me I have learnt the hard way -lol

i meant in my suit case - NOT hand luggage - im not carrying hand luggage

I regularly fly over to Holland and considering you're putting in to your case which will go in the hold, you will be fine. They're just really strict with the hand luggage stuff so take only small amounts of your essential stuff on the plane with you. Oh, and make sure you put it in a clear, resealable bag too or they won't let you take it! Its a bit daft really because once you've gone through security you can take it out of the clear bag

I bet you cannot wait for your holiday...any room in your suitcase for moi? :green:

Fly from Alicante...they don't give two hoots what is in your hand luggage!!!! They just pretend to....

I thought it was a no-no come what may....I mean in the hold....

I am interested in this though because I have always wanted to take a small amount back to the UK with me incase of breakages....but never have...I would be the one hung drawn and quartered by customs!!!
