i have just found a polish i received with my training kit 5 years ago and its still as new as ever
i wouldnt use this on a client but how long can you keep polishes for?

If a bottle has not been opened, then any decent polish should keep for years.

It's how long they keep when they are being used that is the important thing.

It's hard to say because the way in which people use their polish varies so much.

Some people take ages to polish and the bottle is open for much longer than others who can apply a base coat in under 60 seconds to all 10 nails and colour within a minute or two etc.

It helps if the polish you use is thixotropic. Polishes that are thixotropic are useable for much much longer than polishes that are not. All CND polishes are thixotropic.
