Hi

If I have a treatment room in my home do I need to notify anyone ie council about business use within my home? Also does anyone know if there are additional rates for this?

Best to check with your local council as each council will have different rules :)

Yes i agree, best to check with your local council. Mine told me that i would have to apply for a change of use, but his should be fine, as it relates to the number of cars coming- and as a therapist i would only be doing one client at a time, with no high noise levels, so they could see no problem. I would also have to pay business rates, and have a special treatments licence, as well as a separate toilet & hand basin for clients.
