Hi geeks,

I recently applied pink crushed shells in clear acrylic in zone 1 on my own nails and now want to change to something else. Can I just file down the shells to zone 2 and then sculpt a new zone 1? Would the acrylic bond well or do I need to soak off and start again? I'm trying to save time as have been so busy this week!

Thanks guys,

Jaynie x

Hi I cant see any problems as long as you buff done well and use a product that will cover your last colour. x

I would thin down all the enhancement and if you have clear down before the shells file down to the clear, then replace with what ever you want to do, then replace you apex and buff up :)

Hi again,

I didn't put a layer of clear first I just dipped my loaded brush in the shells and then applied it on a form, so can i file the length down to create a nice smile and then scult another zone 1?

I hope this makes sense - I know what I mean lol!!!

Of course you can :)

Just make sure that you have thinned the rest of the enhancement out especially if there is growth in zone 3, you can apply your zone 3 first then sculpt your zone one and then build your apex with clear.

Thanks for that Fifitrix,

I was unsure whether the bond between oold and new product would be strong enough!

Hoorah - I will do it tomorrow night!!!
