I'm wanting to start charging family and friends especially since I've had the flu and they have come to my place demanding I do severe colour corrections for free with my own products. How would you word it? I feel like there will be bite back.
Wow, you definitely should learn how to say the firm "no" even if they are your family and friends. That won’t pay your bills, pay for products and for your time. The best way is to print a special price-list for friends and family members with a small discount and explain you are fully-booked and can't lose money working for free and this offer starts from September (the earlier the better!). It's tough but you should defend your boundaries! Good luck
