Hey!!

Can anyone suggest or recommend a wholesaler for those cheap pretty nail files that you can buy in places like Claires?? I want them to just retail at a small price for Nail clients, as every penny counts!

I'm having difficulty finding suppliers searching on the net so would appreciate some help :)

THanks!!!

Lou

I don't think I'd really want to retail products that can be bought in Claire's. Firstly, I don't think it would help my salon image and secondly Claire's probably buy in such bulk that you probably won't be able to compete with their price.

I may be wrong but ...

I brought these lovely files from Sweet Squared...the pack contains 3 different colours - yellow, pink and blue. They have holograms of butterflys on. Very pretty :) Cant remember how much I bought them for, but I retail them at £1.50. They are really popular. Hth xx

Hey Lou!

If you want to make extra money from clients, try selling glass (crystal) nail files - with Swarovski crystals, painted etc., works great for me! These are very beautiful and come in a velvet pouch, making them a perfect gift or everyday nail care tool.

Profit margins are good as well as I import them directly from manufacturers.

Hope this helps :)

I really don't think it was meant to come across as rude. It's honest hun if anything.
You wouldn't buy your facial products from Tesco's. It doesn't look professional hun. You want something unique and that clients cant but from high street shops.

Have a look in ellisons. They do some fragrance ones which are really nice and smell of strawberries etc.

Or as someone else suggested, crystal nail files. Once you use one you will never go back! xxx

The reason I asked for cheap files was just as a little add on to clients services that we can make a bit of money off. As people wont be willing to pay load sof money for a nail file! I didnt nessasarily mean cheapo I mean more pretty and affordable anyway, because I personally cant afford to spend a min. order amount or pay out £100's for nail files.

I do agree about the crystal files tho! They feel/look/work amazing so will have a looksee at those :) X

Nothing rude in this post, in fact it's a very helpful answer to your question :)

Have a look in your local Capital if you have one or try them online. They have lots of crystal files. Get these professionally though as the ones you buy elsewhere are sand blasted and wont last forever like the pro ones  xxx

I'm with the Sweet Squared hologram butterfly ones.... I think they do a few others too, not just butterflies.... Can't find my catalogue! ARGH! Damn you tidy house!

I am really sorry you took my post as being rude. I honestly didn't mean to offend you. I was just trying to be honest and I would have thought you would have appreciated that.

For what it is worth, I think the Swarovski crystals would be great.:)
