Thought I'd share this info with you all incase you did'nt know like me lol
My friends boyfriend got 6 points on his licence and a fine (my friend almost got the same) because it used to be that if you were over 25 and had fully comp insurance you were automatically insured 3rd party on anyone elses car.
Well that is not the case now and they had no idea and got stopped for a spot check and ended up with point and a fine!
So check your policy before you drive someone elses car
Just checked mine and I have the statement advising I can drive anyone else car but if you do not the chances are you are not insured xx
