OK I probably didn't word the title terribly well but what I want to know is names mineral oil could go under on product ingredient lists.

I read a post on here stating that mineral oil will remove spray tan, so I obviously don't want to go selling a body moisturiser which contains it!

So I need to check the ones I have in to see if it's hidden in there at all.:)

I've seen it been listed as Petrolatum (and similar names) before.

Quick look on good old Wikipedia.....

Adepsine oil
Albolene
Cable oil
Baby Oil
Drakeol
Electrical Insulating Oil
Heat-treating oil
Hydraulic oil
Lignite oil
Liquid paraffin
Mineral Seal Oil
Paraffin oil
Petrolatum
Petroleum, liquid
White oil

Also seen it as Parafinium Liquidium before.

Hope that helps!

Thank you guys that is really useful.

So are they the names most likely to show up on the back of a bottle? :)

On some dodgy grey imports maybe - although perhaps "electrical insulating oil" might have a potential market in skincare for Cybermen :green:
