Hi,

Whats the going rate for children's hair in the uk please is it around £8?

Ive done some research but theres all sorts of prices.

Thanks for any help.

Michelle

Obviously, the price varies according to the situation.

I’d charge around €50 because I hate cutting children’s hair, especially my own. Total nightmare.
My hairdressing friend sends her boys to the local barbers to avoid the hassle.:p

There are some salons that specialise in children’s cuts and provide funky (car) seats for the kids to sit in. I’d expect them to charge more for this type of service.

If you’re working mobile, for instance, I’d expect to charge a nominal amount to cover a whole family of haircuts during 1 visit as this is cost effective in terms of time taken and one lot of travelling.

I charge the same price as adults (ladies cbd £42 gents cbd £31). We've recently moved to keep prices the same as the time taken is usually comparable. I should probably mention that our salon doesn't target this market though so we may be a slight exception to the usual pricing rules.

Hi in my area it ranges from £8/15 depending on age an if its a dry cut or CBD

Depends if it's washed or if I don't dry, I start at £15. I'm mobile so will only do along with an adults appointment
